Hello! Yes. This is certainly acceptable, however, most companies don't post names of employees on their careers site. Some companies have a Email Us link where you can submit questions, or provide a resume. I would suggest rather than emailing a company, to do some research out on LinkedIn and identify one or two people to reach out to. These people can be in HR or within the field that you're hoping to get into. I would reach out more as a networking opportunity than you asking for a job. Explain your background and excitement to work for the organization and ask if they'd be open to answering a few questions for you. Good luck!
