This is a great question and I am sure many can relate to approaching graduation only to wonder "now what am I supposed to do with this degree?" I think that the most important thing to consider is what you are passionate about - do you love to write, do you get your energy from being around others, are you methodical and like to put order to things? The key to finding the right role is really to consider what do you enjoy doing and then consider how you could translate that to a job field. For example, if you love to write, many companies hire for roles in communications or technical publications - you may consider searching for titles such as communications specialist or technical writer. If you prefer to spend your time with others have you considered a role in sales? Many companies offer sales development programs to ensure sales reps are prepared to begin their careers as sales professionals. There may also be opportunities in analytical work, human resources, customer service, supply chain or manufacturing operations. If you have a strong connection to a certain path, those roles will really stand out to you as you search and your enthusiasm will come through as you talk to recruiters and hiring managers.
