For this type of career path, I would recommend a major in business management with either a minor or emphasis in Hospitality and/or Industrial Psychology. These areas will teach you the fundamentals of running and managing a business as well as its people.

For this line of work, I would recommend one to pursue an education within Business Administration or Hospitality with a specialty within Marketing. That way one has a better understanding of how to run a business effectively plus know how to market the business for it to continue to be successful.

Also, one may want to look into Entrepreneurial classes! Who knows maybe one day you choose to own that private golf country club or start on a new adventure.
