When one is career planning and/ or continuing one’s education age should never be an issue! What should be a factor within your plan is a goal that one wishes to accomplish. Also, age should never be an issue for anyone thanks to the ADEA (Age Discrimination in Employment Act). The law forbids discrimination when it comes to any aspect of employment, including hiring, firing, pay, job assignments, promotions, layoff, training, fringe benefits, and any other term or condition of employment. So with that, age is just a number and a never a factor when it comes to planning your career future!
