Essentially throughout my time in school I have worked part time. At several of these jobs I have been offered leader and management positions. Unfortunately, I have never been able to accept any of them as they did not fit with my schedule, and the fear of them effecting my studies. So my question is should I include this on my resume or cover letter?

I would not include them in your cover letter and/or resume if you didn't actually work in those leader or managment positions. You would only want to include the experience that you've worked in.

I would say yes to both questions.  Do put your work experience on your resume.  It will show you have taken on jobs during your time in school. That shows initiative.  I think you have a great story that the companies were interested in having you join them. Share that during the interview.  You have a lot to be proud of since they wanted to extend an offer to you.  I am sure you will find a great job and be successful where you land. Best of luck!

I think it's great that you prioritized your academics over work. Education is important and taking the necessary time to learn and improve your understanding and skill set will be an advantage in your job search. That being said, you should definitely list your work experience in your resume and speak about the transferable skills it's provided you in your cover letter. I recommend you not mention the opportunity to move into management. The text in your cover letter should be focused and concise. Rather, the management opportunities are something you can address in an interview when you speak about your leadership potential.

Sounds like you are a valuable employee!  I would include any achievements in the employment section.  It could be difficult to say that you received a promotion that you could not accept.  Do include any awards & achievements along the way.  Good luck!
